Steven Snook, Ph.D.
is a licensed psychologist who has been practicing in the Atlanta area since 1990. Previously, he served as a clinical psychologist
in the U.S. Army and was the Director of Clinical Training
the Psychological Studies Institute. He specializes in areas of assessment of alcohol and substance use disorders and psychodiagnostics.
He has experience in areas of critical incidents stress debriefing,
management, as well as the treatment of anxiety and depression. He has been a consultant to numerous organizations including:
Talbott Recovery Campus, Salvation Army, Prime Power, Clayton County Fire Department,
Clayton County Public Schools, Clayton County Police Department, Ford Motor Company (Hapeville Plant), Georgia Power
Company Services, and Christian City Home for Children. He has taught courses in
Ethics and Psychological Assessments and currently teaches Clinical Appraisal & Diagnostic Evaluation in Counseling
at local colleges. He has also supervised graduate students in counseling at Psychological Studies Institute.
